Are still octroi charges applicable?

Octroi has been abolished after introduction of GST country-wide since july 2017.

Does your company provide insurance?

We do provide insurance with association of third party with us. Clients can get done insurance of their goods by their own also.

Does Romulus Packers offers different pricing on week-ends and month-ends?

Our company offers pricing based on complex algorithms and has Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning implemented. We give pocket-friendly quotes to clients.

Will there be any hidden pricing?

We keep full transparency regarding pricing. No hidden charges.

Do you provide documents for reimbursement?

We do have tie-ups with companies. Employees of all those company needn't pay us anything till the reimbursement limit. We get it done by ourselves with companies.

Do I need to pay booking amount?

We need to book a slot and make resources available for clients. We do charge nominal booking amount which is reduced from total invoice. For more details, refer to payment policies.

Can I shift gas cylinder, gold jewelleries, cash and other valuables?

Please refer to our terms of service policies. We have everything in there that you want to know.

Can i track my booking?

Client can track booking. Tracking will start once our driver starts for client's location. Tracking number will be allocated once client confirms booking.

How two-wheelers and four-wheelers are moved?

We do have carriers for vehicles. Normally, transport companies drive your vehicle from pickup till destination. That is the one reason, our costs are a bit higher then normal as we use big carriers for transportation.

Why charges are high for week-ends and month-ends?

Week-ends and month-ends charges are higher because of more demand and to provide smooth experience, price surging is done leading to efficient distribution of resources.

Are there any hygeine related issues like rodents?

We do clean our warehouses very frequently and proper maintenance of warehouses by regular pesticide spray and anti-rodents spray.

If your warehouses are not on ground level, then will there be any extra labour charges?

No, we don't charge specifically taking items from ground floor to our warehouse floor.

Are my items safe in your warehouses in terms of privacy?

We don't open items of clients without their written or digital consent. Before storage, we do check to make sure that it complies with our warehouse policies.

Can i pick partial storage items from warehouse?

Yes, Clients can pick any item from storage they asked us to store and can store more items too.

If your warehouses are not on ground floor, how vehicles are stored?

We do have dedicated warehouses for vehicles on ground floor. It totally depends on clients where they want to get stored.

Is there any way to checkout warehouses?

Yes, we do give clients a video tour of the warehouse and clients can visit the warehouse before storage too.

Does your company provides GST invoices?

Yes, we do provide GST/GTA invoices. Please don't forget to mention GST number before invoice generation.

Is there any way we can avoid paying GST/GTA?

We are a private limited company with good reputation to serve client and comply with regulations provided by govt of Republic of India.

How quotation is decided in Romulus Packers?

Our team reaches clients to inspect the items they are willing to move and give quotation. Any changes in items lead to reduction/increase of cost.

How much GST is charged by Romulus Packers?

We do charge GTA which is flat 12% on all services except insurance which is 18%.

Can I ask for paper bill or invoices?

We are very eco-friendly company promoting e-bills. In case, if client insists for paper bill, we do provide that.

What are payment methods available?

We do offer digital payments as a support to Digital India. We do accept credit card, net banking, debits cards, UPI. In case of corporate clients, we accept cheques. For more details, refer to the payment policies.

Is shifting of plants also allowed in Romulus Packers?

We do shift plants too but don't take responsibility of outdoor plants in outstation bookings.

What other documents will i get along with invoice?

We will provide quotation copy,items list, GST Invoice, payment receipts and loading receipt.

What are documents required for shifting vehicle?

A copy of registration of cehicle and valid ID proof of the client is required for shifting vehicle.

How to choose packers and movers to go for?

Please look for their company registration, GST registration and visit their office if possible. Google map locations can be fake. Prefer visiting in person to offices.

Does your company provides storage?

Yes, we do provide storage services and have one of the finest warehouses. We do have clean warehouses along with CCTV surveillance.

Are your warehouses safe from weather calamity?

We do have proper infrastructure for our warehouses. Apart from that, we do have our warehouses on first floor or above floors.

How frequently your warehouses are cleaned?

Our warehouses are cleaned daily. Storage items are moved within warehouse to get warehouse cleaned once within 15 days.

Can i take pictures of stored items?

Yes, Clients are fully authorised to take pictures of their stored items before putting into storage and while shifting out of storage.

How do you charge clients for storage?

We do charge on daily basis. Clients are free to pick or we deliver anytime once they cross the threshold of a month.

Are your warehouses insured in case of fire accidents or other damages?

We got our warehouses insured. But your items will be charged extra nominal amount to cover them fully.

Will there be any hidden charges?

No, There will be extra GST(GTA) applicable on bill amount. Apart from that, if customer is willing to pay tip to labours,it's their will. No labour will ask for the same.
